Empowering students through Biblically grounded, academic excellence
Welcome to Appalachia Christian Academy
Appalachia Christian Academy is a Christian homeschool community and support organization (umbrella academy) serving families with students in grades 6–12. We are not a traditional school or classroom. Parents remain the primary instructors at home, while we provide a complete, biblically grounded core curriculum as part of standard tuition. Families receive curriculum, structure, academic oversight, transcripts, report cards, graduation documentation, and guidance for Kentucky homeschool compliance, along with optional fellowship and sports programs that enrich the homeschool experience.
OUR MISSION & BELIEFS
Christ-Centered, Parent-Led Education
MISSION: We partner with Christian families to provide a rigorous, biblically grounded education that fosters strong character and academic mastery.
PHILOSOPHY: Our mastery-based, parent-led model recognizes parents as primary educators. While parents teach and grade, ACA provides the vital structure, documentation, and academic guidance needed for success.
FAITH: We hold to the authority of Scripture, the Holy Trinity, and Christ’s redemptive work. We honor the sacredness of life and biblical marriage, expecting all families to respect our Christian mission.
FAMILY ROLE: We believe parents are the primary instructors and mentors. By shaping academic growth and character at home, families create a legacy of faith and learning.
How the Academy Works
The Academy Model
ACA combines home-based instruction with professional oversight. Parents remain the primary teachers at home, while the academy maintains secure records, provides curriculum, plans quarterly meetings, plans special events, designs transcripts, report cards, and graduation documentation and ceremony.
Who We Serve
We serve families with students in grades 6–12. Our program offers distinct support for middle school exploration and high school collegiate preparation, ensuring students are ready for college, work, and life.

Fellowship and Sports programs are open to both fully enrolled and associate families. Also, graduations, special events, outreach opportunities, capstone trip (with additional fees), and quarterly meetings are included.
Tuition & Services
As a tuition-based academy, we cover all administrative oversight and record-keeping for a flat yearly or monthly fee. Note that curriculum is included with yearly tuition.
